Cheesemaking

Last Saturday I took a cheese-making class at Jeremiah Farm. We learned how to make Feta, Mozzarella and Ricotta -- all from raw goat's milk! I'm anxious to re-make the feta as it was the best I've ever eaten! I'll hopefully get a post together once I make it -- but I'll have to first get around to buying one of the ingredients online. :) I'll have to admit -- making cheese from scratch and being out on their farm amidst chickens, goats, a jersey cow, turkeys, etc, kind of made me want to 'live off the land'. There's a simplicity to it that draws me. Anyways, here are some photos from the morning.
